Entry modes
Live Interviewing projects
Live Interviewing mode is the only available entry mode when working with a Live Interviewing project, or on the Live Interviewing portion of a multi-modal project.
Data Entry projects
UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer provides three distinct keying passes for Data Entry projects:
Initial Entry
Partial Verification
Full Verification
Initial Entry mode
Initial Entry mode is the first keying pass and is mandatory for all projects, whether additional validating passes are required or not. When keying an Initial Entry pass, you will key all available interview questions.
When you have completed a case in Initial Entry, data entry for the interview is complete when the project does not require another verification pass. If verification is required, the case needs to be re-keyed in part (Partial Verification) or in full (Full Verification).
Partial Verification mode
Partial Verification mode is a second keying pass that verifies the accuracy of certain data keyed during the Initial Entry pass. When keying a Partial Verification pass, you will only re-key a subset of the responses that were in the Initial Entry routing. The interview’s author determines which questions require re-keying in Partial Verification mode. Those questions are re-keyed in each verified case.
Full Verification mode
Full Verification mode is a second keying pass that verifies the accuracy of all data keyed in during the Initial Entry pass. When keying a Full Verification pass, you will re-key all of the responses that were in the Initial Entry routing.
Verification entry is performed in the same manner as Initial Entry, with the exception that the validating operator must resolve all entry conflicts by determining the correct entry. For more information, see Resolving verification conflicts.
Verification access for single or multi-user operations
You can perform verification, on a case in which you completed the Initial Entry pass, when the project is not configured for multi-user verification. If the project is configured for multi-user verification, you are not be able to verify a case in which you completed Initial Entry. The case must be deployed to another operator for verification.
For more information on configuring multi-user verification, see the Activation section in the UNICOM Intelligence Author User’s Guide or UNICOM Intelligence Professional User’s Guide.
For more information on deploying keyed data to another operator for verification, refer to Creating a data package for deployment.
