Tips for Quancept users
In Quancept, each question item defines the question text, the responses and any routing associated with those responses. Routing for multiple choice responses and routing based on the responses to more than one question are defined separately at the appropriate points in the questionnaire. Statements in the script are executed sequentially.
In scripts written in the Interview Scripting Language, questions and response texts (the metadata) are defined separately from the logic (the routing). This distinction makes it easier for sections of a questionnaire to be reused in other questionnaires, or for different methods of interviewing to be defined within the same script.
The metadata in interview scripts is written in mrScriptMetadata. Some of the advantages of mrScriptMetadata are:
multiple lists in one question along with other responses
subheadings
ability to size the Other box
additional question types in grids.
