Installing the UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library
To install the UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library
1 If you have installed an earlier version of the UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library, it is recommended that you remove it before installing the new version.
2 Verify that your system meets the requirements. See System requirements and Samples and tools.
3 From the Installer window, choose Install. Follow the instructions on each screen.

Samples and tools
The DDL includes a number of samples and tools. All of these require UNICOM Intelligence Data Model, and some have additional requirements:
Three C# wizards that can be used with Visual Studio .NET to simplify the creation of an UNICOM Intelligence - Server Admin activity. The wizards require installation of UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin or UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation.
The source code and executable files for three .NET applications: DM Query, WinDMSRun, and DPM Explorer.NET. To run the WinDMSRun executable file, you need UNICOM Intelligence Professional, and to run DPM Explorer.NET, you need UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin or UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation. To compile the source code, you need these products and Visual Basic .NET.
Numerous sample DataManagementScript (DMS) files. To run these files, you must install UNICOM Intelligence Professional.
Numerous sample mrScriptBasic files. To run these files, you must have UNICOM Intelligence Data Model. Some of these samples have additional requirements, such as Microsoft Office or UNICOM Intelligence Professional.
A number of sample mrScriptMetadata files. To use these files, you must have UNICOM Intelligence Data Model.
The Short Drinks sample comes in the form of a SQL Server backup of a relational MR (RDB) database. You need SQL Server Client Tools to restore and use this database.
