Configuring UNICOM License Server
To configure UNICOM License Server, edit the ult_licesrv.ini file. It is in the working directory for the License Server; on Windows, this is C:\Program Files\UNICOM Global\License Server.
The ult_licesrv.ini file, and all other files related to licensing, must be in either ANSI/ASCII or UTF-8 format. They must not be in UTF-16 format.
Parameters
ListeningPort
The TCP/IP port on which UNICOM License Server listens for client connections.
Default value: 7498
ListeningIPVer
The type of TCP/IP port. For IPv4, specify 4. For IPv6, specify 6.
Default value: 4
UsageSummaryFile
The name of the file in which a summary of current license usage is recorded.
Default value: ult_licesrv_usage.txt
LicensesPath
Full path of the directory that contains the licenses. The default is a subdirectory of the working directory for the License Server.
Default value: licenses
NamedUserFilesPath
Full path of the directory that contains the named user files. The default is a subdirectory of the working directory for the License Server. See also Managing named user lists.
The file names are in the format <license>.NamedUser.
Default value: licenses
PolicyFilesPath
Full path of the directory which contains the <license>.Policy files, which control how UNICOM License Server allocates licenses. See also Managing the policy system.
Default value: licenses
Logfile
The name of the logfile that UNICOM License Server generates. See also Generating diagnostic information for UNICOM License Server.
Default value: ult_licesrv.log
Level
The amount of information that is recorded in the logfile. Level 1 is errors only. Levels 2 and 3 add different diagnostic information. See also Generating diagnostic information for UNICOM License Server.
You can change the level without restarting UNICOM License Server.
Default value: 1
