Managing licenses
UNICOM License Server has a console-based license management interface that enables you to:
show the UNICOM License Server host information
install or updated licenses
show the key properties of a new license before it is installed. This also:
checks the new license to find out if it is valid or expired
warns you if the new license replaces a license that already exists, if there is a change to the license, and if the license that exists is current and the new license is yet to start.
show the installed licenses
show the extended properties of a license
delete an installed license.
If you add a new license, you do not need to stop or restart UNICOM License Server.
If you replace or delete a license, you must restart UNICOM License Server.
When you import licenses into UNICOM License Server, a backup copy is made in the licenses\backup directory. The file name of the license backup is appended with date and time of the import.
