Installing UNICOM Intelligence Survey Tabulation, Reporter Server Edition, and Author Server Edition

To install UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation, UNICOM Intelligence Reporter Server Edition, or UNICOM Intelligence Author Server Edition, complete the following steps:

1 Check that you have the correct hardware and software: see Knowledge Base article K34-1453.

2 Create the users and the user group.

See Creating the users and the user group.

Install upgrades, fix packs, and interim fixes by using the same user as the original installation. If that user is not available, use a user with the same rights. For more information, see Creating the installing user and running user.

3 If running UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation, UNICOM Intelligence Reporter Server Edition, or UNICOM Intelligence Author Server Edition through a firewall, open ports on the firewall.

4 Install UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation, UNICOM Intelligence Reporter Server Edition, or UNICOM Intelligence Author Server Edition.

5 Carry out any post-installation steps necessary for your installation.
