Installing the JDBC service driver
1 Go to the \JDBC Driver\Server directory of the installation package, and then double-click the UNICOM Intelligence JDBC Service Driver.exe.
The Setup wizard opens.
2 The License Agreement page displays the software license agreement. If you accept the agreement, click I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next.
3 The Service Configuration page displays the system port number that the JDBC service driver will use. Enter a port number, or keep the default value of 19999, and then click Next.
If port 19999 is in use by another application, you must change the default value.
4 The Destination Folder page displays the path where the JDBC service driver will be installed. You can change the path or keep the default location. Click Next.
5 The Ready to Install the Program page displays the installation options. Click Next to begin the installation.
6 After the installation is complete, click Finish.
The JDBC service driver requires the file mrOledb2.dll to retrieve data from UNICOM Intelligence applications. It is recommended that you install the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model 7.5.1 before installing the driver.
