Server Configuration utility (ServerConfig.exe)
The Server Configuration utility (ServerConfig.exe) gets UNICOM Intelligence information from the registry and saves it in the site preparation file (DataCollectionSitePrep.ini) for later use. It is typically used after UNICOM Intelligence software is installed and updates the local UNICOM Intelligence installation with cluster information. For example, when the installation user for the cluster is different than for the server, ServerConfig.exe updates the windows services (mrDPMserver3, mrUserAdminServer, and so on) with the user information.
ServerConfig.exe parameters
<site_preparation_file>
(Mandatory.) The site preparation file (DataCollectionSitePrep.ini) contains configuration information for each cluster server. For each server, it contains the server name, and UNICOM Intelligence information, including the server role (Web, Interview, Accessories, and so on), port and protocol information, and additional supported options such as Phone or CAPI synchronization support (if applicable).
If the DataCollectionSitePrep.ini file is not accessible from its location on the primary cluster server, copy it to a local directory. After the server configuration is complete, copy the local DataCollectionSitePrep.ini file back to the primary cluster server directory for later use.
