Creating the UNICOM Intelligence user group
The Installing User, the Anonymous Access User, and all scriptwriters must belong to a single group, known as the DPMAdminTrusteesGroup. This ensures that these users have access to the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server components and that UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server works. If you do not have a suitable group already set up, you must create a new group before you install UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server.
The following instructions describe the process for single computer installations. The procedures for workgroup and domain installations are similar:
In a workgroup, create the UNICOM Intelligence user group on all computers in the workgroup that will run UNICOM Intelligence applications.
In a domain, create the UNICOM Intelligence user group as a domain global group, unless you have two domains in your configuration, in which case, create the group as a domain local group. (Domain local groups are supported only in native-mode domains, not in mixed-mode domains.)
To create a new group (single computer installations)
1 Open the Windows Control Panel, and then click Administrative Tools > Computer Management.
2 In the Computer Management window, expand Local Users and Groups, right-click Group, and then click New Group.
3 In the New group dialog, enter a name and description for the group, and then click Add.
4 In the Select Users or Groups dialog, select the Installing User, the Running User and the Anonymous Access User, and then click Add.
5 Click OK.
6 Click Create, and then click Close.
