Changes for computers with multiple IP addresses
If you have installed the Web Service onto a computer with multiple IP addresses, and have websites set up for each IP address, you must update the project management database so that it refers to the IP addresses of the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server websites rather than the names of the computers on which the Web Service is installed. The recommended way to do this is to use DPM Explorer, which is installed as part of the UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library.
1 Go to the following folder:
[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\7\DDL\Code\Tools\VB.Net\DPMExplorer.Net
2 Double‑click DPMExplorer.exe.
3 In the DPM Explorer screen, click Clusters, and then click DefaultCluster.
4 Replace the computer names with the IP addresses of the websites you will be using. Do not delete the & (ampersand) symbols that enclose the names.
5 Click Apply, and then close DPM Explorer.
6 Log on to a computer running the Interview Service as a user who has trusted user access to DPM. This is typically the installing or running user.
7 Go to the following folder:
[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\7\Interviewer Server\Server
8 Double-click RegIntSvr.exe to register the Interview Service computers with the Web Service computers.
9 Repeat steps 6 to 8 on all other computers that are running the Interview Service.
