If there is a firewall or a DMZ boundary between the Interviewing server and the Database server, you might not see the name of the Database server in the list of SQL Server displayed in the Create a New Data Source to SQL Server dialog. Just type the name of the Database server into the Server box and the connection request will generally be allowed.
