Setting up the Surveycraft Museum or Household project
This topic describes how to use UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin to create a UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation project that uses the Museum or Household Surveycraft .vq and .qdt files.
To do this, you must have access permissions for creating UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin projects and using the Manage Files activity.
1 On the toolbar at the top of the
My Projects list, click the New Project button
.
The New Project dialog opens.
2 From the Project Type list, select Analyze existing data.
3 In the Name box, enter the project's name as you want it to appear in the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin project list, for example, Museum SurveyCraft Data Set or Household SurveyCraft Data Set. This name is for display purposes only and can be changed at any time during the project's life cycle.
4 In the Description box, enter a description of the project, and then click OK.
The project is created using the default settings, and the Upload Existing Data dialog appears.
5 In the Data Type list, select SurveyCraft File.
6 Click Browse, and then navigate to the folder where the Museum or Household Surveycraft data set is. By default, this is:
[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\7\DDL\Data\Surveycraft
7 Select the Museum.qdt or the Houshld.qdt file.
The file uploads, and then its name appears in the File(s) uploaded list.
8 When the upload has finished, click Browse again, and then select the Museum.vq file or the Houshld.vq file. The file uploads.
9 If you have created an .mdd file for the project, upload it.
