Setting up the Quantum Ski Demo project
This topic describes how to use UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin to create a UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation project that uses the Quantum Ski Demo sample data set.
To do this, you must have access permissions for creating UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin projects and using the Manage Files activity.
1 On the toolbar at the top of the My Projects list, click the New Project button This graphic is described in the surrounding text..
2 From the Project Type list, select Analyze existing data.
3 In the Name box, enter the project's name as you want it to appear in the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin project list, for example, Ski Demo. This name is for display purposes only and can be changed at any time during the project's life cycle.
4 In the Description box, enter a description of the project, and then click OK.
The project is created using the default settings, and the Upload Existing Data dialog appears.
5 In the Data Type list, select Quantum Data File (DAT).
6 Click Browse, and then navigate to the folder which the Ski Demo project is in. By default, this is:
[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\7\DDL\Data\Quantum
7 Select the skidemo.dat file. The file uploads, and then its name appears in the File(s) uploaded list.
8 When the upload has finished, click Browse again, and then select the skidemo.mdd file. The file uploads.
9 You will be asked whether you want to change the name of the .mdd file to match the Project ID. Click Yes.
