Use the Hide Variables dialog to hide variables. Select a variable to hide it. Clear the check box to show a variable.

Variables hidden using this dialog are still displayed if you include Hidden Variables in the list of variable types to display in the Modify Variable Types To Display dialog.

Click Variables > Hide Variables.

This option enables you to set rules that to hide specific types of variables, such as coding variables.
