1 Select any variable in the Variable List.

2 Type the first character of the variable’s name. The first variable in the list that matches the criteria is automatically selected. If it is not the variable for which you were searching, use the scroll bars to move to the right variable, or you can narrow your search by sorting the variables on a different column.
