Adding project properties
When you create a project in UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin and you specify the application type, this puts the set of default properties in DPM for that project. If you want to use a project for both data gathering and analysis you must add a second application type, and then specify the necessary properties for that application type.
You can also add other properties; for example, if you have added your own properties to DPM to store customized information about a project. This is how you set up the QuotaAutoCommit facility for projects that use Quota Control with Sample Management. This increments the counts of completed and rolled back interviews at the end of an interview, and decrements the pending counts, as happens automatically in projects that use Quota Control but not Sample Management. To add an application type to a project
1 Click Add Application at the top of the properties list. The Select Application dialog opens.
2 Choose an application type from the list, and then click OK.
The application type is added to the project and its property list is displayed at the foot of the page.
To add a project property
1 On the Properties tab, in Project Type, choose the project type to which you want to add properties.
2 Click the Add icon
at the top of the properties list, or click
Click here to add property at the bottom of the list.
A new line is added to the end of the list.
3 In this new line, click NewProperty, and then type the name of the property you want to add.
4 Click Some Value, and then type the value for the new property.
5 In the Type column, set the data type for the new property.
