Uploading table documents from other applications
You can upload .mtd files created using UNICOM Intelligence Reporter or Survey Reporter into UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server Administration projects for use with UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation. UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation ignores the location of the metadata and case data that are saved in the .mtd file, and instead uses the metadata and case data in the project into which you upload the file.
Opening a table document from another application in UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation
If the project does not exist in UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server Administration, create a new project, and then upload the data source files that you used to create the .mtd file. For more information, see “Creating a New UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation Project”. After creating the project, you can upload the file either from UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server Administration or from UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation.
Uploading a file from UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server Administration
1 In UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server Administration, select the project, and then click the Files activity.
2 In the Manage Files window, click Actions > Upload.
3 In the Upload Files dialog, go to the folder where the .mtd file was saved and select it, then click Upload.
4 Click the Home button to return to UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Server Administration.
5 Select the project, and then click UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation.
6 Click Files > Open Table Document.
7 Select the table document file from the Open dialog and click Open. The table document opens and the tables are displayed in the Table List. You can then select, populate and configure the tables as usual.
Uploading a file from UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation
1 Select the project and click UNICOM Intelligence Reporter - Survey Tabulation.
2 Click Files > Open Table Document.
3 In the Open dialog, choose the Upload button
.
4 In the Upload Files dialog, select the file that you want to upload.
5 Click Open, then in the Upload Files dialog, click Upload. The file is uploaded to your user folder.
6 Select the table document file from the Open dialog, and then click Open. The table document opens and the tables are displayed in the Table List. You can then select, populate and configure the tables as usual.
