To avoid accidentally modifying codes, rearranging elements or breaking the project and simplifying the work of functional developers, UNICOM® Digital Transformation Toolkit (UDTT™) provides a UDTT Perspective as part of the development environment.
The UDTT Perspective shows UDTT-specific model artifacts and rearranges them with a more functional structure (grouped by common elements and projects). It:
▪ hides non-UDTT views and editors
▪ hides infrastructure and generated files from Workspace and Project Explorer outline view: shows only UDTT-specific model artifacts and rearranges them with a more functional structure
▪ supports massive build tasks.
Functional developers can then focus on creating the business logic and the UI with development tools. UDTT generates the technical infrastructure code of the UDTT framework and transaction definitions and classes. In many cases, a function developer might not even be required to write any code.
In some situations, extension developers might want to restrict the working environment of beta developers more specifically. They can extend the perspective and customize the explorer: see Perspective extension.
