Creating an XUI mobile file in Mobile folder
To access the XUI Mobile editor and begin using the widgets, you must first create an XUI mobile file.
You must create an XUI mobile file under the Mobile View Model paths, by default it is xui_mobile folder. To change that, see Setting project paths. The XUI file is a Rich Internet Application (RIA) framework for building applications in Java and XML. XUI only supports Dojo widget sets.
To create an XUI mobile page
1 In the Enterprise Explorer view in Rational Application Developer, right-click the xui_mobile folder and click New > Other.
The New window opens.
2 On the Select a wizard page of the New window, expand the BTT folder, and then click New. Click Next.
The Create XUI File page is displayed.
3 In the File name field, specify a name for the XUI file.
The file name you specify in the File name field cannot be duplicated.
The file name cannot start with numbers or include space character at any position.
The file name cannot end with btt or t (not case sensitive) to avoid the product name.
You must use a .xui file extension for the XUI file.
4 If you want to create a Mobile XUI file using an existing XUI template, select the Create a xui file using templates check box. Click Next, and then select the template you require.
5 Click Finish.
