You can change any axes in the database. You can replace them with new or updated versions of themselves by reflipping them and then merging them into the database as described in the next section. When you run qvmerge, any axes in the database directory with the same names as those being merged are overwritten. The program reports the number of axes replaced and lists their names onscreen.
