If the program contains the keyword graph= on the a, sectbeg, flt or tab statements, during the output stage Quantum creates a graphics file for each tab statement. The files are named tabn.sys on all systems, where n is the number of the graphics files created; the first one is number 1, the second is number 2, and so on.
