Creating tables
The tabulation section consists of a series of statements which determine the contents of the tables. Each table may be thought of as a matrix of cells. The table shown below is a 3‑by‑5 cell table. It consists of three columns (Total, Male and Female) and five rows (Base, Single, Married, Divorced and Widowed) making fifteen cells in all.
