Configuring external authentication on servers
The steps required to configure external authentication on a solidDB server depend on your operating system:
On Linux and UNIX systems, you must configure your system so that solidDB can authenticate users by using the pluggable authentication modules (PAM) mechanism, see Configuring external authentication on Linux and UNIX systems.
On Windows systems, you must define the default domain name for the externally-authenticated users, see Configuring external authentication on Windows systems.
