CREATE EVENT
CREATE EVENT event_name
   [(parameter_name datatype
      [parameter_name data_type...])]
where
event_name is any user-defined alphanumeric string that identifies the event
parameter_name is a user-defined name of the parameter
data_type is an SQL data type
Usage
The CREATE EVENT statement creates user-defined event objects in the solidDB® databases.
After you have created a user-defined event, you must register, post, and wait on the event using stored procedures.
Example
CREATE EVENT ALERT1(I INTEGER, C CHAR(4));
