3 You can specify one or more roles for the intersection definition of each Operational Node and Operational Activity. In doing so, you are specifying who, or what job title, performs an activity on a given node.
To specify roles in the Matrix Editor, complete the following steps:
Select the Operational Node to Operational Activity (Leaf Only) matrix.
Right-click a cell in which you have placed an “X” to signify a relationship; then select Edit Cell Definition.
The OpNodeActivity definition dialog box opens. On the Introduction tab, the Description property has an “X” in it. This signifies that there is a relationship between the corresponding Node and Activity.
Select the Role tab of the OpNodeActivity definition.
To specify roles of the intersection, perform either of the following steps:
To use existing roles, click Choices; then select one or more roles that are currently defined in the repository.
To add new roles, type the name of the role; then click Add > Define.
