Generating SV-6 systems data exchange matrix reports (ABM for DoDAF)
1 Select Reports > DoDAF (ABM) Reports.
2 Select Systems Data Exchange Matrix (SV-6).
3 In the SV-6 Report Settings dialog box, the default properties to be generated in the report are listed in the Selected properties list. To add properties to be generated, select properties in the Available properties list; then click the > button.
You can also change the order in which properties are generated in the report by selecting properties in the Selected properties list, and then clicking the up and down arrow buttons.
4 To specify a filter that also generates invalid SV-6 system data exchanges, in the Filter section, select one of the following options:
Valid
Only valid SV-6 System Data Exchanges are generated to the Excel spreadsheet.
Invalid
Only invalid SV-6 Systems Data Exchanges are generated to the Excel spreadsheet. When you have two functions with two or more nodes associated with each functions, then all combinations of Interface Lines and corresponding Data Exchange definitions are auto-generated between them. However, it is possible that some of the Data Exchanges might be invalid for your particular model scenario. For example, consider a situation where no information is consumed by a function at a node.

Valid and invalid SV-6 System Data Exchanges are generated to the Excel spreadsheet. A column in the spreadsheet, labeled Valid, provides an appropriate T (true, or valid) or F (false, or invalid) value for each Data Exchange line.
5 When creating an SV-6 report, you can save the current report settings or load previously saved report settings. The report settings can be saved to and loaded from either the current encyclopedia or the file system. If the report is made the default, then the settings are saved in the System Architect . ini file (SA2001.ini).
To save the current report settings, click Save Settings, select where to save the report to, type a report name, and then click Save.
6 Click Run.
A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet is generated that contains the SV-6 product, as shown in the following example image.
