Drawing connector lines on Enterprise Direction diagrams
You can use the Connector line on the Enterprise Direction diagram to graphically show what Means or Ends an Organizational Unit is responsible for.
1 In the Draw menu, select Connector line, and then click two points on the diagram.
2 To make sure that a Connector line is connected to a node symbol, you must see + (plus sign) where the line connects to the symbol.
You can draw a Connector line into an empty space on the diagram. The line does not have to be connected to a node symbol on either end.
3 To specify arrowheads on the connector line when you draw the line, in the Associative dialog box, select Flow (Sequence) on either end of the line. You can clear both ends, which results in the line having no arrowheads, or select both ends, specifying a corresponding arrowhead on that side of the line.
4 To specify arrowheads on a Connector line that is already drawn, right-click the line, click Associative, and then select or clear the checkbox for each end of the line.
