Creating SOV-4c Service Interaction Specification diagrams
In the Service Interaction Specification View, you specify how a service interacts with external agents, and the sequence and dependencies of those interactions. Use the UML Sequence diagram to draw the Service Interaction Specification.
1 Create a new Sequence diagram. Right-click the Diagrams group of the Explorer (browser); then click New.
2 Name the diagram.
3 In the dialog box that opens, specify the Package that the diagram belongs to.
4 Specify that the diagram is of stereotype SOV-04c Service Interaction Specification, as shown below:
Open the Properties dialog box for the diagram. Right-click an empty area of the diagram workspace; then click Diagram Properties.
Click the list in the Stereotype property and select SOV-04c Service Interaction Spec.
Save the diagram and refresh the Explorer browser.
The stereotype <<SOV-04c Service Interaction Spec.>> is displayed in front of the diagram name in the Explorer.
The following image shows an example of an SOV-4c diagram.
