Creating NSV-2b System Port Connectivity diagrams for NAF 3
On the Resource Port Connectivity Description diagram, you specify the connections between individual ports and the protocols used by each connection. The ports can be on different systems.
In the diagram, you typically draw the following types of symbols:
•Resource: Represents the Resource Type and subtypes
•Resource Port
•Resource Port Link: Line symbol connectable between Resource Ports
•Resource Port to Resource: Line symbol can be drawn from a Resource Port to a Resource, and populates the associated Resource property
1 Right-click the Diagrams group of the Explorer; then click New.
2 Name the diagram and click OK.
3 Specify that the diagram is of stereotype NSV-2b System Port Connectivity Description, as shown below:
•Open the Properties dialog box for the diagram. Click Edit > Diagram Properties.
•In the Diagram Properties dialog box, navigate to Page 2; then, in the Stereotype list, select NSV-2b System Port Connectivity Description.
•Save the diagram and refresh the Explorer (browser). You will see the stereotype <<NSV-2b System Port Connectivity Description>> placed before the diagram name in the Explorer.
