Specifying constraints on Service attributes for NAF 3
You can specify NSOV-4a Service Constraints, such as Service Policies, on the attributes of a class stereotyped as «Service».
In System Architect, you have the ability to create two types of Services: high-level Services and low-level Services. You can relate low-level Services, specified using a Class definition of stereotype «Service», to high-level Services in the Related Low-Level Service property of a Service definition. You can specify constraints on the attributes of low-level Services.
1 Select a Class definition stereotyped as «Service».
2 On the Definition tab of the Class, on Page 2, type in the name of the attribute and the constraint equation.
For example, type availability > 95, where availability is the attribute being constrained.
3 To save the class definition, click OK.
