Click the ‘plus’ button to expand the control to the total size of the window. When expanded, the ‘plus’ button turns into a ‘minus’ button. Frequently, it is easier to work on text entries when the control is as large as possible.

To reduce the control to its default size, click the minus sign. It is not necessary to click the minus sign before saving the dialog.
