Calculating costs in IDEF0
When cost data has been entered for the activities in a model, you can generate and display the costs for each activity.
To generate activity costs:
1 From the Tools menu, select IDEF Utilities, IDEF0 Cost Generation.
2 Select the diagram containing the activities and click Cost. System Architect will perform the cost calculations for those activities.
3 Open the diagram. You will see the generated costs displayed inside each Activity Box.
When you have calculated the costs, you can run cost reports.
