When invoking one of the DoDAF reports or DoDAF utilities, you might encounter an error stating, "A problem occurred trying to apply style ‘Heading 1’ to MS Word. Click Help for additional information." This problem typically occurs when you have a non-English version of MS Office or one of its components. For example, the German version of MS Word does not recognize ‘Heading 1’ as a valid style. Instead, it recognizes the German equivalent, ‘Uberschrift 1’.
To rectify this problem you need to specify certain style settings by doing the following.
1 For the style reported as a problem, you must specify an equivalent match in your Microsoft Office style settings.
2 Add this style information to System Architect’s sa2001.ini file.
