When you update Activity Based Costing (ABC) for each Elementary Business Process, System Architect multiplies the cost drivers and the frequencies which you have specified. The result is a read-only figure in the Modify Definition [Elem. Business Proc.] dialog, labeled Total Cost.

To update ABC, you must assign a cost driver to an Elementary Business Process, execute the update, and view the Total Cost in the Elementary Business Process definition.
