By default, a picture of a selected diagram is displayed in the viewing area of the Explorer. You can choose to instead show the values of properties for a diagram, by toggling off the Pictures command.
Only some diagrams in System Architect have ‘diagram properties’. For many diagrams, the Details area will be empty if Pictures is selected. An example of diagrams that have ‘diagram properties’ are the UML Sequence, Class, and State diagrams. Users can add their own diagram properties to any diagram type through USRPROPS.TXT.
Note A picture is automatically created the first time a diagram is saved. Until a new diagram has been saved, the diagram name does not display in the list and no picture is available for display in the viewing area.
