Using the access DLLs to change your security mode
The three Access DLL files that are used for resetting the security mode in System Architect are SABIND.DLL files. SABIND.DLL has four security modes. The shipping default is SABIND2.DLL. To change the security mode, use the Windows File Manager or a DOS command to erase the copy of SABIND.DLL in the System Architect executable directory, and copy one of the SABINDn.DLL modules to SABIND.DLL.
Specific functions of the security mode corresponding to each SABIND.DLL file are listed below:
SABIND1.DLL
User is always a supervisor on all drives and has access to all paths.
SABIND2.DLL
User is never a supervisor and has access to all paths.
SABIND4.DLL
These DLL files are only appropriate when used with the Network version of System Architect.
