Structured System Analysis and Design Method
Structured System Analysis and Design Method (SSADM) provides a systematic approach to analysis and design of information technology (IT) applications. It has been adopted as the standard method for software development in all departments of the British Government.
SSADM was developed by the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency (CCTA) in the United Kingdom. SSADM version 1 was introduced in 1981; the current version, 4.0, was most recently modified in the mid-90s.
