Moving organizational functions on decomposition diagrams
If you move an organizational function after placement on a decomposition diagram, it might disconnect from the parent entity. You can reconnect the relationship using the following procedure.
1 Select the Organizational Function.
2 Drag the function to the middle of the parent level until the connection line appears.
3 If the Organizational Functions are too close together to add the subordinate Organizational Function, select the parent function, and then drag the center‑bottom handle until the function overlaps any lower-placed functions.
Result
Objects are automatically moved to accommodate the new size. After you place subordinate functions, the elongated function resumes its original size.
