A Data Transform is a circular symbol, equivalent to the Process Modeling Process symbol, representing a point in the system where data is manipulated, or processed. To rigorously separate the time-continuous and time-discrete aspects of a system, a data transform should have only data flows as inputs, but can have data or event flows as output.
