Discrete Flow Line
A Discrete Flow is a line symbol representing a flow that exists or has values only at individual points in time and is considered to have an undefined or null value at all other times. The discrete flow is made up of a set of instances, or points in time, in which the values or variables are defined by a transaction. The instances of this flow represent both the content of the data and the occurrence of the flow as an input or output at a specific point in time.
