Directly below the View over Entities on a Logical View Diagram is an Entity Projection, known as the Restricted Projection: the root of the process. Hierarchically ranged underneath the Restricted Projection are other Entity Projections. Each represents one or more attributes from an entity in the source ERD: an Entity Projection is all of or some of one entity.
