Asset
In UAF, Asset is an abstract type that is equivalent of generic Resource in DoDAF 2. Asset is not intended to be modeled – however, it is available as a definition type in the UAF support so that users mapping their DoDAF 2 architecture to UAF can maintain the generic Resources they modeled.
Asset has the following subtypes (which all have inherit the same properties and behavior (relationships that can be drawn to/from them):
Asset – abstract grouping type, available to be modeled to catch “Resource” from DoDAF 2 models
Performer – abstract grouping type, available to be modeled to catch “Performer” from DoDAF 2 models
OperationalAgent – abstract grouping type not available to be modeled
OperationalPerformer
