The User Symbol Types are used to create a symbol on the diagram workspace. In the User Symbol Type, you can specify how the symbol is defined and assign it to a particular diagram.
To create a user symbol type
1 Perform one of these actions:
•In the Explorer, right-click the Definitions group, and then select New Definition.
•Click Dictionary > New Definition.
2 Select User Symbol Type, and then specify a name for it.
3 In Defined By, specify any definition name that you want this symbol to represent.
4 In Assign To Diagram, specify any diagram name that you want this symbol to appear in.
