Adding DCOM rights to Impersonation account and INTERACTIVE group
When the System Architect XT impersonation account is not a local administrator on a Windows 2003 computer, you might receive an “Error starting SA2001” message. If so, you might need to set DCOM permissions manually for the impersonation account and the INTERACTIVE group as follows:
Have users who are logged onto System Architect XT log off and shut down the application.
Click Start > All Programs > Control Panel, and then select Administrative Tools.
Click Component Services, and expand the following nodes: Component Services > Computers > My Computer.
Click the DCOM Config node and expand it.
Find SA2001.Lexus, right-click it, and then click Properties.
Click the Security tab.
Under Launch and Activation Permissions, click Customize and then Edit. In the Launch Permission dialog, the impersonation account and the INTERACTIVE Group must be added to the list of Group or user names field.
Click Add, select the impersonation account and the INTERACTIVE Group, and click OK.
In the Security tab, make sure that the impersonation account and the INTERACTIVE group have Allow set for all four permissions.
Click OK twice, and then exit the Component Services.
