Integrating with IBM Rational Asset Manager
IBM Rational Asset Manager is a collaborative software development and asset management solution that organizations use to manage and govern the design, development, and consumption of services. With the System Architect and Rational Asset Manager integration, you can store encyclopedia diagram definition and metamodel (usrprops.txt) as assets, which become complete business solutions you can potentially reuse. In effect, you can govern how to share and reuse your published enterprise architecture artifacts.
The integration is bidirectional. You can export encyclopedia artifacts to RAM, and import RAM assets to System Architect. The System Architect installation provides an SA-RAM library and a new definition type, “RAM Asset” that supports the integration by providing traceability.
