To create a comparison of models in your encyclopedia
1 Login to System Architect XT as an Updater.
2 On the Home page, click COMPARE MODELS.
3 Expand the Diagrams folder, and then expand the diagram type you want to select. If you chose Business Process for example, a list of those diagram types is shown, each with an empty check box in front of it.
4 Click the check box in front of the diagrams you want to select.
5 Click Add.
The diagrams you selected are added to the collection of diagrams to compare.
6 Select a Time Dimension option. By default, the option is Enabled, with In Service Date as the selected Property to use for Time Dimension. You can select to use the Effective Date instead, or disable the Time Dimension option. If the symbols in the diagrams you select do not contain values for any time properties, the comparison output will be displayed without the Time Dimension Slider, which allows you to simulate the movement of time.
7 Click Compare.
A new browser window is launched, displaying a comparison of the diagrams you selected.
