The Encyclopedia Profile selection is available in the Site Management section of the Home page of System Architect XT, if one of the default templates is deployed. Click Encyclopedia Profile to open the Configure Encyclopedia Profile page, and then set the presented properties.
These settings can also be configured from the Catalog Manager. Right-click on an Encyclopedia immediately beneath the root Encyclopedias node and pick Edit.
Custom defaults can be set in the web.config file:
1 These are optional settings so they can be left blank and the original defaults identical to the above will then apply.
2 At least one page file and at least one IP Template file must exist.
3 The file to be loaded is checked and if absent then an existing one will be used if possible.
Select page configuration file
Enables you to select an XML template that specifies the content of the main pages. This includes what links are provided on the Home page and inside pages, and the look and feel of the site (including graphics). To make your own Configuration File, first make a copy of a standard Configuration Files shipped with System Architect XT. Save your custom files to the same folder as the Configuration Files (C:\Program Files\UNICOM Systems\System Architect XT Suite\SAXT\Pagefiles). This makes your files appear as options on the Select Page Configuration File list. The standard Configuration Files provided are:
Commercial.xml
Presents choices on the Home page that enable users to ask questions about their enterprise architecture germane to the commercial industries.
Defence.xml
Presents choices on the Home page of System Architect XT that enable user to ask questions specific to defense architecture frameworks. See Customizing the configuration file for information about changing page configuration files.
Select default IP template
You can choose from any one of a number of XML template files designed with System Architect Information web Publisher, which define the information that is contained and how it is rendered to viewers. The ‘IP’ templates contain sets of reports that query the repository in real-time and present information to you on the live web site interface of System Architect XT.
