Hiding subtrees on hierarchy diagrams
You can show or hide sub-tree symbols on hierarchical diagrams. You can use this option for each symbol that contains a sub-tree. When you hide a sub-tree, all symbols beneath that symbol are hidden from view, and System Architect places a tail on the symbol, indicating that it contains hidden sub-tree symbols.
To show or hide subtree symbols
1 Right-click the symbol that has other symbols nested in a tree structure below it.
2 Select Hide Sub-tree. The symbol will have a tail, or dashed line drawn out of its bottom, indicating that there is a hidden sub-tree.
This graphic is described in the surrounding text.
To show hidden symbols
Right-click the symbol, and then click Show Sub-tree.
