A Mirrored Matrix can have the same row and column definition types displayed as mirrored. When you click in the cell of the matrix, the opposite relationship will also have the cell marked with an 'x'. The relationship becomes a two-way relationship. When using a non-mirrored matrix which has the same row and column definition types, you can only specify one way relationships.

To open the application to application interface matrix
1 With the Samples encyclopedia open in System Architect, select View, Matrix Browser.
2 The Matrix Browser appears. Click Application, and open the Application to Application Interface matrix by double-clicking the name (or right-click the name, and then click Open).
3 Click Next to bypass the Matrix Filters dialog.
4 Click Finish to bypass the Matrix Filters dialog (leaving the default -- all column and row definitions selected). The Application/Application Interface matrix is presented.
5 Select the cell between Credit Card Booking and Reservations. An X in the cell will mark the relationship. X also appears in the opposite relationship between Reservations and Credit Card Booking.
6 Click Matrix > Save.
7 From the Encyclopedia Explorer, click + next to Definitions and open the Application definition called Credit Card Booking.
8 Click the Application Interface tab and notice that Reservations has been added. The opposite appears in the Reservations definition.
