Opening and manipulating the Explorer
Opening the Explorer
Open the Explorer with any of the following options:
Select Explorer from the View Menu.
Select File, New Diagram: the Explorer opens, and the New Diagram dialog box appears. Alternatively, click the New Diagram toolbar icon.
Select Dictionary, New Definition: the Explorer opens, and the New Definition dialog box appears.
Docking and undocking the Explorer
To dock or undock the Explorer, when it is docked in a region where you do not want it to be, or it is open and undocked (floating), drag the Explorer title bar to the area where you want to place it. As you drag the Explorer over areas in the application window, arrow guides are displayed on the left, top, right and bottom areas. Perform one of these actions:
To dock the Explorer, release the title bar over one of the arrow guides.
To undock the Explorer, release the title bar inside the application window (but not over an arrow guide). You can also undock it outside the application window.
